Founded in February 2020 out of a community-wide workshop centered on revitalizing Shamokin. This workshop was the result of collaborative efforts that began in 2018 of Faith Alliance for Revitalization (FAR) and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Justice Department (EPA EJ).
